We got our new blinds last night!!! Eric and Shannon Hartinger (good friends of ours) do window coverings of all sorts, carpet and wallpaper/decor. We finally got around to taking the plunge and getting some decent - and not from 1970 - window coverings!
Here is the living room. This was a week or two ago from when Jason and I painted the green wall and he hand cut and painted all of the new trim! (new blinds pic below this one).
No more roll-up beige with gold fringe!!! They are wooden blinds which unfortunately covers most of Jason's hand crafted trim work, but we can still pull the blinds up every now and then to look at it :).
Here is the "baby's" room - or soon will be once we get the furniture out of there! This room gets a ton of light in the morning and daytime (ask any of our poor house guests that have been blinded in the morning!). It will be nice to have the filter for the bambino nap times!
