Well, I didn't get an answer persay, but I do LOVE the new Dr. She is super nice, young and not snooty (which may just mean that they hear the same thing over and over again...). Either way, she is super nice...and was very non-judgemental given I had pretty much a break down in her office. I did all the regular stuff with the nurse (blood pressure, Q & A, etc...) and then Dr Covert came in. She asked me to do a brief run-down of my health history which pertains at all to what I was in for for the consult. It actually felt sort of nice to do that because no Dr has ever asked for all that info - and it reminds me that I'm not crazy, I really have had issues!
Right as we got to the recent health issues, I started to go in to the weight issue - and completely started sobbing. She asked if I thought I was depressed and I said no, I really don't, I just think it is a serious frustration for me that gets me down at times. Most of the time actually these days.
So - I'll spare you the dialogue, but we talked through some symptoms and options - we are switching the pill to Yaz - yup, the one on the commercial. She said that my body just runs well on its own and needs something with a little more oomph to make it run differently.
We talked a bit about trying to get pregnant soon and she said that she thought that was awesome, but to make sure I can concentrate on taking care of myself the next few months - stress, weight and other unhealthy factors effect eggs and ability to conceive. Duh right? Makes total sense in a different way when someone you want to hear it from says it.
So - I went home after that, walked the dog, did laundry and cleaned up around the house. Then Jason came home and I started crying again because I just felt badly about being stubborn and a bit nasty the night before - he said it was okay, kissed me, hugged me and was just who and how I needed him to be.

And....babies everywhere!
So many pregnancies, babies, and more babies!
Emma, I will get your baby shower pictures posted soon, but bear with me. I'm still stuck at the beginning of October!
Here is Ian Raymond Adams born 10/8/09!
Donald Leeland Connors was born on September 18th, Kira Fitzgerald was born September 10th...and Baby Hartinger (#3) comes soon, my counsin's #2 comes soon, Baby Wildman is due December 19th, Baby D on Jan 16th, Baby McG is due April 14th...lets see who else am I missing? Jason's work buddy and his wife are due in April, Adam McDermott's wife Amanda is due in February I think... Amanda is due some time around St. Patricks Day...whew! That's 11 so far. Maybe if everything goes as "planned" (New Years Party, tollerable winter, honeymoon in March, then me off bc pills)...there will be a 12th due sometime late next year!
6 months later...
I really need to keep up on this blog, if even just to look back on it and laugh someday.
Below is the cutest little church for a great ceremony.
Now - this was earlier in the season, but I'm so sick of rearanging my text and photos now...we had a friends 30th b-day year celebration down in Red Wing. We were going to go down to the same place for JZ's bach party....I was there for one night and decided against that. It was fun, but would have been a lot more fun if we were 21 still!!!

So, I've been a Cavanaugh for almost 7 months now and I love it. I've adjusted to the new name, although I have one bank account and a few CC's/Loans that still have Jensen on it. Oh well, doing the name change thing is NOT as easy as one would think! I now understand why some women keep their maiden names or married names whether a recent marriage/divorce has happened.
Hmm - well, it was a great summer, nice and cool. It flew by though! Not the usual fly-by season where we all say, oh I've been so busy... I couldn't even tell you what we did all summer, I just think that the weather part of summer didn't come for so long that literally - summer lasted like 3 weeks.
Here's Massey these days...sleeping in her Dad's boot. Stinky feet are the best - socks preferred off the feet.
(wait until later in the blog, you get to see the new front door so she'll have a new place to lay! We love her more and more every day. She is like a child to us now, personality and all. She furrows her brow, raises one eye, gives us "the look" and is just plain cute n' fun to have. I'm still having moments where I sort of don't want to have her...around that is, but I think those will always be followed by the times when she's gone and I miss her or feel wierd without her around.
My BF Mamie got married to her love Nick over Memorial Day this year. I went out to CO on the Wed before to see Angela for a night (here with Jake her/my nephew in the picture above). Jacob has gotten SO big and I've missed so much, but his Auntie Angela does a pretty good job of keeping me up on his latest antics!

And beautiful scenery for me and my Husband of only 2 months....and Scott:) Gotta love that guy.
Sorry all these pics are of Bebo, but he's so freaking cute and just doesn't care still at his age...he found a toad at the cabin...and kissed it...a lot
JZ's (now Jdub, but she'll always be JZ) Bachelorette tubing and camping in what should have been early October weather.

So, that's it for now. Next will be on updates on the house...then winter time...new years and then maybe we'll get a pregnancy notice on this bad boy!

Well...I'm a Cavanaugh now! One note that I must get out of the way - there was no back-fat problem! The day was perfect - everything. I have helped with a lot of weddings and there are usually things that go wrong or at least not as planned. Everything went as planned and happened when it was supposed to!
I'm a Cavanaugh now - I'll check in periodically - like Cavanaugh would:).
